Richard Curtis
Co-founderRichard Curtis is a Film and TV writer and director. He is the Co-Founder of Comic Relief UK, a charity that has raised £1.5 billion for projects in the UK and internationally. In 2015, Comic Relief went to the USA – to date it’s raised over $300 million to help children around the world. Richard was a founding member of Make Poverty History & worked both on that and Live 8. In 2015 he co-founded Project Everyone, with an aim to make the UN’s SDG’s famous & effective. He is now a UN Advocate for the SDGs. In 2019 he co-founded Make My Money Matter.
Gail Gallie
Co-founderGail started her career working for advertising agencies, before taking a role in marketing at the BBC where, over an 8 year period, she led the marketing of Radio 1, BBC News, Sport, CBeebies and BBC Three. As a consultant Gail worked to relaunch non-profit brands such as Children in Need, The Camden Roundhouse and Sports Relief. In 2010 Gail was appointed CEO of the ad agency Fallon, part of the Publicis Group. After Co-Founding Project Everyone, Gail had a spell as CEO of the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. In 2019 she launched Project 17, a consultancy alongside her non-profit work helping the private sector orient their purpose around the Global Goals.
Kate Garvey
Co-founderKate is a Co-Founder of Project Everyone and guides our strategic communications and global campaigns. Prior to Project Everyone, her clients and campaigns have included; the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games; Product (RED); Live Earth; The Global Fund; UNHCR; the Maternal Mortality campaign; Make Poverty History and the Live 8 concerts. Her career began in politics where, from 1997 until 2005, she worked for Tony Blair at 10 Downing Street in the Prime Minister's Private Office and played an integral role in 3 successful election victories. Kate was also a director at Freud Communications and is an Alumna of the Young Global Leaders.
Piers Bradford
Managing DirectorPiers is the Managing Director of Project Everyone, tasked with leading the organisation and making it the best possible place to work. He has been with PE since the start, originally joining to set up a pop-up radio station focusing on the Goals which was carried in over 75 countries around the world. Prior to this, Piers was part of the BBC Radio 1 leadership team – where he launched Radio 1’s channel in iPlayer, the Live Lounge album and a series of award winning social action campaigns and documentaries.
Alison Bellwood
Executive Director, World’s Largest LessonAlison is a creative communications expert with a specific focus on children and education. She has worked extensively with some of the world’s most recognised brands (PepsiCo, Unilever, Nestlé). In 2014 Alison joined Project Everyone to create the World’s Largest Lesson which aims to build a generation of young Global Goals “champions”, taking action to make the world a better place for everyone. Working alongside founding partner UNICEF and many others, our World’s Largest Lesson team develops creative tools for learning and engages millions of children in over 120 countries in its annually themed learning experiences.
Hannah Cameron
Creative and Campaigns DirectorAs the Creative and Campaign Director at Project Everyone, Hannah works in collaboration with partners and creators to produce striking content and campaigns for the Goals. Highlights include #DizzyGoals, #WhatIReallyReallyWant, Freedom For Girls, Dear World Leaders, Voices For Change and #WorldsToDoList. She has brought new and unusual suspects to understand and champion the Goals – from George the Poet and Beyoncé to Patrisse Cullors and Tarana Burke. She exec produced the original Goalkeepers for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from 2017 – 2019.
Jon Hales
Climate and Business DirectorJon leads our Business Avengers campaign, bringing together some of the largest and most influential companies in the world to drive awareness and accelerate progress from the corporate sector towards the Global Goals. Jon also works with our creative team and partners to develop campaigns which influence action and behaviour change around the climate crisis. Before joining Project Everyone, Jon was Director of Strategic Partnerships for Climate Action, where his focus was on creating public-private partnerships to accelerate the low carbon transition. Jon is also the author of two children’s books, inspired by his time teaching English abroad.
Polly Mallinson
Content DirectorPolly works alongside Richard Curtis overseeing all of Project Everyone’s films for campaigns with our partners, including Global Citizen, the Gates Foundation and the United Nations. Polly's background is in public policy and she has 15 years of production experience. Previously she was a producer for Oscar winning director Jonathan Demme and at Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman's production company, Playtone. She began her career at the European Commission in Brussels and then Indonesia helping to develop and implement EU strategy with ASEAN. She has a Master in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Rachel Waldron
Events DirectorRachel is an events specialist, creating and delivering large scale events on a global scale with social purpose at their heart. Rachel was the founder and producer of The Big Egg Hunt, a public art event which ran in cities across the world, winning multiple awards and raising more than £3 million for charity. At Project Everyone, Rachel has created and managed key creative moments: including an installation of 193 snowmen at the World Economic Forum and raising 17 flags around the world. Rachel’s most recent production was Forest for Change, a forest in the courtyard of Somerset House with an installation of the Goals at its core.
Esther Kissiedu
Social Media and Digital DirectorEsther has over 15 years’ experience in media relations and digital communication, working with prominent broadcast media and publishing brands such as Financial Times and MTV. She joined Project Everyone in April 2020, as the Director of Digital and Social Media, leading on strategic development for the Global Goals’ social and digital channels.
Kinvara Jardine Paterson
Director, World's Largest LessonKinvara believes in the power of education as one of the best ways to achieve the Global Goals. She started her career as a teacher through the Teach First programme in London. As a Director for World’s Largest Lesson (WLL) Kinvara brings creative resources for learning about the Global Goals to life. She recently produced WLL Live, an inaugural YouTube show to inspire youth action for the Goals, featuring UN leaders and popular teen personalities like Millie Bobby Brown. Kinvara works alongside UNICEF to continue to expand the programme which has now reached over 15 million young people.
Lily Brown
Events DirectorLily is the Events Director for Goalkeepers, focussing on the power of music and storytelling to convey the messages of the Global Goals. Lily worked for two years as PE co-founder Richard Curtis’ Creative Producer before joining the PE team in 2019. In her time here she has worked predominantly as a producer on Goalkeepers with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as working with the World’s Largest Lesson team UNICEF, to produce the WLL Live, an online education YouTube show and producing the events at Forest For Change at the London Design Biennale.
Sophie Fraser
Project DirectorSophie spent several years studying and working abroad in Spain and Cuba before returning to the UK in 2011 to work as a Strategic Communications Planner on advertising campaigns for the likes of Mars, Nestlé and Oxfam, amongst others. In 2017 Sophie joined Project Everyone to work as a Project Manager on the inaugural Goalkeepers event with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Since then, Sophie has worked on several other Goalkeepers events as well as various dinners and receptions in Davos and virtual events for Cannes Lions Live.
Sabrina de Souza
Director of Policy, Advocacy and CampaignsSabrina serves as our Director of Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns, where she holds a crucial role in establishing the policy foundation for our global creative campaigns. She simplifies complex policy matters into clear messaging and narratives that drive the direction of our campaigns. Additionally, as a passionate feminist advocate, Sabrina lends her expertise as a board member of the Global Girls Project. Prior to her tenure with Project Everyone, she served as the Director of National and Regional Advocacy at Malala Fund.
Claudia Kool
Senior Manager, People & CultureClaudia looks after the team at PE; the people, culture and workspace. She has a down to earth and holistic approach to workplace culture and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive place to work where people are valued and able to thrive professionally. Claudia works on recruitment, training and development, staff wellbeing, and oversees the day to day running of our hybrid workspace. She also co-runs two working groups on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) and Sustainability.
Johanna Schmidt
Senior Partnerships ManagerAs Senior Partnerships Manager, Johanna oversees all aspects of Project Everyone’s partnership with Google. This not only involves working with Google but also closely liaising with the UN and most internal teams. Prior to joining Project Everyone, she worked at Cancer Research UK managing a number of large-scale partnerships, most recently leading on all Stand Up To Cancer partnerships. Before joining the charity sector, Johanna worked agency-side in international advertising and marketing on big campaigns for clients, like Oreo, Milka, Cadbury, Philadelphia and many more, for a number of years.
Jack Davies
Senior Manager, World’s Largest LessonJack is the Senior Manager for the World’s Largest Lesson team where he manages Generation Earthshot, in partnership with The Earthshot Prize and The Royal Foundation. Before joining Project Everyone Jack studied Politics and Philosophy and spent 7 years working on education projects in Bristol, Manchester and London – from national teacher training programmes to coaching football to 3 year olds! He is an ambassador for TeachSDGs and UNLEASH Innovation Labs, and a UNITE 2030 Youth Delegate.
Sarah Kadouch-Chevalier
Senior Climate Campaigns ManagerSarah is Project Everyone’s climate campaigns manager. Since joining in 2018, she has worked with a range of partners in the climate, nature and ocean space, helping develop and deliver advocacy campaigns and creative content. Sarah produces and curates high-level events at key moments and works closely with our partner, Freuds, on Goals House. She also leads Fashion Avengers, a new collective of leading fashion forces committed to accelerate action towards the Goals. With a background in environmental geopolitics and law, Sarah started her career working for a London-based charity that mobilises the arts and culture to take action on the climate crisis.
Emmyline Duffy
Senior ProducerEmmyline is an senior producer who has been at Project Everyone since 2017. While being involved in a wide variety of projects, her main role is managing the Goalkeepers Award programme which identifies, highlights and rewards young activists from around the world on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Emmyline leads on the project management of this process working with the nomination partners, the judges and communicating closely with the winners themselves.
Eddy Day-Clarke
Project ManagerIn her role as Project Manager, Eddy is currently working on the Goalkeepers Campaign with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Previously at Project Everyone she supported Kate, Piers and the senior management team, including working on the Nations United broadcast in partnership with the UN, and the Forest for Change at Somerset House. Before Joining Project Everyone, Eddy was the Executive Assistant to the British High Commissioner in Uganda and before that, worked in Marketing and Fundraising in the NGO sector.
Celeste Sangster
Campaigns & Communications ManagerAs Campaigns & Communications Manager at Project Everyone, Celeste develops and delivers impactful campaigns to promote the SDGs to diverse audiences. Her role involves working closely with civil society organisations around the world to ensure a united effort to advance the Global Goals. Prior to joining Project Everyone, Celeste delivered a successful campaign on domestic abuse and mental health for England’s leading charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. She holds an MA in International Development and has worked with international teams across projects in Nepal, Peru and Pakistan – with a focus on women’s empowerment.
Eliot McFarlane
ProducerEliot is a Producer at Project Everyone, working in the creative team. Previously, Eliot worked in film promotion, producing websites and digital campaigns for clients including Universal, Netflix and Disney. His background lies in digital production, copywriting and project management.
Amber Zafar
Social Media ManagerAmber is a Social Media Manager at Project Everyone. With a background in social media strategy and a passion for journalism, she supports the mission to make sustainability and the Global Goals a trending topic. Amber's Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from City, University of London fuels her dedication to spreading the word about global issues and she believes in the power of storytelling to drive positive change. When she's not crafting social media strategies, Amber is immersed in the world of music, exploring the latest tunes, and attending concerts. Prior to this Amber worked in PR and for charitable organisations.
Noreen Kassam
Programme ManagerNoreen is the World’s Largest Lesson Programme Manager. Within this role, she builds and manages relationships with educators, NGOs, and delivery partners across the world to roll-out exciting and impactful learning programmes. Prior to this, she was an events manager supporting the international education community in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Originally from Burundi, Noreen is passionate about creating equal opportunities and removing barriers to education for every single child in the world, as she believes that education is the key to a better, brighter and more sustainable future.
Nour Alswaid
Youth and Community ManagerAs the Youth and Community Manager for the World’s Largest Lesson team, Nour leverages over a decade of experience in the humanitarian sector. Nour has worked with many organisations, including UNICEF and Mercy Corps. Her role involves designing and managing programs centred on youth engagement and communication across multiple countries. Her expertise extends to community management and event management, where she excels in creating and overseeing initiatives that foster meaningful connections and impactful events. With a profound commitment to fostering inclusivity, Nour boasts extensive experience in developing and managing the implementation of youth engagement initiatives, both on national and global scales.
Calu Malta
Partnerships ManagerAs Partnerships Manager, Calu is the principal point of contact for the Business Avengers, a campaign highlighting the role that businesses can play in delivering the Global Goals. Prior to joining Project Everyone, Calu worked at Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ rights charity, Stonewall. While there, she managed a portfolio of clients as part of the charity’s flagship workplace inclusion programme, before going on to lead on the development of partnerships centred around educational events. Originally from Brazil, Calu is passionate about enabling positive global change through effective communication and advocacy.
Charlotte Macauley
Social Media Content CreatorCharlotte is the Social Media Content Creator at Project Everyone, creating visual content for The Global Goals and World’s Largest Lesson’s social platforms. Previously, Charlotte worked as a Videographer, developing video content about and for women and minorities. Charlotte is passionate about creating content with purpose, and contributing to making the world a better place for all.
Alysha Alva
Marketing and Communications ExecutiveAlysha is the Marketing and Communications Executive at Project Everyone for the World Largest Lesson Team. With her background in communications, marketing, partnerships and network management, Alysha works to create more awareness about teaching the Global Goals worldwide. Through her undergraduate degree in International Development and through her 7-year experience in AIESEC (a youth non-profit), Alysha is passionate about meaningful youth engagement on the global stage. Ultimately, Alysha believes that youth leadership and quality education are the keys to achieving the Global Goals by 2030.
Thaswina Ramsaha
Business & Climate Team AssistantPrior to joining Project Everyone, Thaswina honed her skills in editorial and creative development for documentary and unscripted television, cultivated by her passion for visual storytelling. In her current role, Thaswina supports the business and climate team with event logistics, curation, and creative development during key high-level convenings throughout the year. Alongside supporting private sector partnerships through the Business Avengers initiative and creative activations within our climate campaigns. Recently serving as a producer for a bonus mini-season of the 'An Idiot's Guide to Saving the World' podcast. Thaswina is committed to creatively informing, educating, and curating unexpected connections to drive progress for the Global Goals.
Faith Mayowa Osideko
Intern - Team AssistantA graduate from the University of Warwick, Faith majored in History and Politics, covering topics such gender development, sustainability feminist history and included a transformative Year Abroad in South Korea. Beyond academia, they delved into feminist community work and art youth collectives, embodying a fervour for blending creativity, community, and social change. Now, Faith fuels the heartbeat of our office, assisting Claudia, Senior Manager of People and Culture, and supporting Michael, Finance Director, with the accounts. Eager to learn and grow, they navigate various departments, gaining invaluable insights into our operations and culture.
Megan Wheeler
Assistant Events ProducerAs Assistant Events Producer at Project Everyone, Meg is dedicated to crafting sustainable and meaningful events that resonate with diverse audiences and inspire action for the Goals. Meg played a key role in producing the SDG Pavilion at the United Nations General Assembly in 2023, and has since assisted on other high-level events such as our dinners at the World Economic Forum. Meg holds a degree in International Development with Anthropology, and prior to joining Project Everyone she worked in Film and TV Production, which fuelled her passion for storytelling.
Raabia Ghaznavi
Assistant Events ProducerRaabia is an Assistant Events Producer on Goalkeepers, working with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to spotlight amazing changemakers and innovators making progress towards the Goals. Prior to joining Project Everyone, she worked in production for live broadcasts with a focus on News. With a background in communication, art, and design, Raabia is passionate about using creativity to drive positive change.
